The Scarecrow Scramble Family 5K Run/Walk is an annual fall night run. The gently lit course winds through Lisle Park District's scenic Community Park. This fun family event is complete with a Tot Run, Youth Run, and pre and post run activities.

The Scarecrow Scramble was founded by the Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation and the Lisle Community Character Counts! Alliance through a partnership formed to make the Lisle Community a better place to live, work and play.

 

It's more than a race!  It's a fest!  Special Events start at 4:30pm and the 5K starts at 6:30pm.  Scroll down for a sample schedule.

Age Categories

Tot Dash: Ages 3-6

The Tot Run is a 50-yard dash on the football field

 

Youth Run: Ages 7-11

The Youth Run is a 1/2 mile loop on Short Street

 

5K Run/Walk: Ages 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

The 5K Run/Walk is on a USTAF Certified course.
