Lisle Partners for Parks Poundation Supports New Inclusive Playground in Community Park with a $100,000 Donation

In 2019, the Lisle Park District plans to renovate and replace Community Park Playground with a universal design playground – where every child, regardless of ability or disability, is welcomed and benefits physically, developmentally, emotionally and socially from the environment. Through collaboration with the non-profit organization Unlimited Play, a leader in the field of accessibility and inclusive play, The Lisle Park District is excited to bring this unique and remarkable, fully inclusive playground to Community Park.

This year, The Lisle Partners for Parks Foundation committed $100,000 towards the Lisle Park District’s $500,000 planned investment in the project. The Foundation recognizes the important role an inclusive play environment can play in the well-being of children and their families not only in the Greater Lisle community but of outside visitors as well. In the coming months, you’ll be hearing more about this life-changing project from the Park District.
